How do FREE Returns work?

Any returns for store credit or warranty within 30 days of shipment are covered for FREE Returns.    You can return the item for any reason  for up to 30 days after shipment.

What can I return?

You can return any item within 30 days of shipment.

How do I use the self-service return system?

Our self-service return system is easy to use.   


  1. Enter your email address and order # to start
  2. Select all items you want to return (make sure to include every item you want to return to avoid any future return complications) and select the Return Items button at the bottom
  3. Select the reason for your return  (Note:  FREE Returns are covered for Store Credit or Warranty within 30 days of shipment) and click next.
  4. Confirm all the information looks right on the last screen and click submit.
  5. If you qualify for FREE Returns you will see a packing slip and shipping label to download.    If outside of FREE Returns you will be prompted to Pay Pal to complete the purchase of a discounted shipping label
  6. Package your item according to UPS Guidelines and follow all directions included on the Packing Slip.    Include the packing slip in the box and attach the UPS Label to the outside of the box.
  7. Utilize the UPS Locator on the form to find your local UPS Drop off location


What is your Laptop Return or DOA Policy?

FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER YOU SHOULD FAIL TO BE SATISFIED WITH YOUR XOTIC PC PRODUCT, YOU MAY RETURN IT WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE DATE OF SHIPPING FOR A FULL** REFUND OF YOUR PURCHASE**


You must ship the products within 5 days of setting up your return to XOTIC PC in its original packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. You may return software for refund or credit only if the sealed package containing the disks is unopened.


Returned products must be in as-new condition, and all of the manuals, disks, power cables, and other items included with a product must be returned with it.  Returns for External Accessories purchased with laptops must be returned unopened and in their original retail package to be eligible for refund.


**XOTIC PC will not refund shipping, rush services, XOTIC PC Services, special ordered parts, or any Shipping Warranties. If Windows or Microsoft Office has been activated, it will not be accepted back for refund or credit.

*When Promotional items are offered during promotional periods, the price of these items is taken out of the price of the laptop and provided as a Promotional Item. In the event of a return for refund the price of the item will be deducted from the refund if the Laptop/PC is returned.


**ETCHED, CUSTOM PAINTED OR SKINNED LAPTOP RETURNS:

We will charge a 20% restocking fee for customizations of this nature that are returned for refund. Items returned to us with these customizations must have new exterior surfaces replaced that were physically customized with a customer’s design. Additionally these services are non refundable.


**ORDER CANCELLATIONS:

If an order is cancelled prior to being shipped you will receive a full refund minus any rush services, shipping warranties, or custom painting, hydro dipping, etching or skinning that has occurred.


DOA POLICY:

Should you receive a machine that is dead on arrival you must notify XOTIC PC within 30 days of your original ship date, XOTIC PC will pay for shipping both ways to repair or replace your laptop.  You must ship the product within 5 days of setting up your return.


Closeout policy

All closeouts are first come and first serve. Due to the nature of closeout items, we give substantial discounts on products and they are always in limited supply. As a result, we update our website frequently. On a rare occasion, there might be a time you order a closeout item and we discover it’s out of stock, we will notify you immediately and try to work with you directly to meet your needs. Please note that some close out items have minor cosmetic damage disclosed on the item’s page.

When will I get my refund or store credit?

Please allow 5-7 business days for us to process your return.   We will notify you once the return has been completed.

Can I get a shipping label to return my item under Warranty?

By using our self-service system you can set up a warranty return and utilizing our discounted rates.   

Can I return items that were custom modified?

You can return items that were custom painted, etches, skinned, uv printed or hydro dipped but are charged a 20% restocking fee.

How are promotional items handled with returns?

The website price for the retail items will be taken out of the refund if they are not returned with the order.

Is it required I contact you before setting up a return?

No it is not.   Feel free to use our self-service return system to set up your return.   For returns outside of 30 days for Warranty or Upgrade you will be contacted prior to return approval to review your request.
If your item needs to go to the manufacturer you would want to contact us first for next steps.    

Is shipping insurance included with the self-service return system?

Insurance is included.   It is vital the package is packaged to UPS Guidelinesas outlined in the return system.   If these packaging guidelines are not followed any insurance for loss or damaged will be voided.    If at anytime your not sure how to package an item, please Contact us
