I'm not a gamer, but needed a machine that can handle multiple monitors and has lots of DRAM memory and storage. The Intel Core i9, 64 GB of DRAM and 6 TB of SSD can handle multiple IDEs, Schematic and Layout editors, and simulators!

I have to admit, the next best thing about getting this laptop is the reaction of my 15yo when he found out it has the Nvidia 5070 graphics card. He almost **** a brick, and there was a palpable satisfaction in denying him permission to play minecraft to test it out. (However, I offered to let him watch a movie with me instead, an equally valid testing medium, which he declined.)

Like any good parent, i pointed out a good way to get more "yes"s from the adults you're stuck with, is to be less selfish with what you request. Example, Teen- "can I play minecraft?" Mom- "No I don't like that game, but I'm thinking about getting into playing Fortnite" Teen- *pout*
Correction suggested, "mom, can I download fortnite and play a round with the character after you do your build? " Heck yeah, you can!

This is a great laptop, and the perfect surface upon which to rest it is my naked cat, Cleo. She loves toasty things, yet this laptop has not yet gotten overheated. I got several heat sinks added, so ideally it will not be a problem, ever...

Currently using the laptop to social post from my couch, but winning that sweet gaming gear would be the perfect finale.

So far it's really good for what I got it for.
Need a better setup tho.

My apologies for the late response but I've been in lala land surfing through my new exotic PC and it's amazing thanks Xotic 🙂‍↕️

I spent weeks looking at configs on different custom builder sites like Digital Storm, Falcon Northwest, etc. Out of all these companies Xotic had the most powerful components I could find... "combination-wise." Here's the config: NVIDIA 5090 GPU; AMD 9800X3d; CORSAIR VENGEANCE 96GB 6000 MT/s CL 30 RAM; MSI Godlike Motherboard; Samsung 9100 PRO SSD; Lian Li fans; Liquid-cooling for CPU.

I'm a hard-core gamer with money to spend, so I went for the gusto obviously.

I own a $2k Lenovo Legion PC with a 4070 Super and a PS5 PRO. This PC from Xotic outperforms both by a long shot in terms of FPS, lack of lag/stuttering during gameplay, and loading times.

I also really appreciate the fact that the staff at Xotic actually answer their phone AND your questions during their business hours...consistently!
