It's Just Ok
Upon receipt, the device requires a lot of tweaking to make it actually efficient and fully utilize the chipset/GPU. Also, for anyone that isn't already aware, the laptop 4090 is NOT anywhere comparable to the desktop 4090. The naming convention is a gimmick, and it's probably more comparable to a pared down 4080. The design is pretty nice, but it does indeed sound like a jet taking off when in turbo mode. Keys feel nice, and the trackpad on the side isn't bad for mobile usage. The screen is gorgeous, and the second display/screen pad, is extremely useful. I'm not sure why they make it 4k, when it functions best in QHD and can match the display size of the main display. But I'm sure some find it useful both ways. Battery life is also meh. You might get an hour of mobile gaming, or a couple hours if you have it in Windows more. Overall, for the cost, I can't say it's truly justified unless you absolutely need that built in second screen, but at that point, why not just get a 3rd party screen that can hook in. You might have slightly more effort and space in you bag taken up, but you get a full fledged screen and improved usage while saving $1,000 or more for a single screen comparable model.

The asus rog zephyrus duo is very well made has amazing cpu and gpu both handle anything you throw at it.
The battery life surprised me if you need to do some tasks it lasts with gpu off on armory crate 2.5 hrs.
Tempatures do get hot on the cpu side and without having fan on turbo or manual mode It will keep it cool but on high performance cpu gets to 90+ while gaming
Overall if you want the best of the best on the go or desktop replacement this is it.

Are 2 Screens Really Worth it?
Absolutely. 100%. I bought this Laptop because I am a full-time medical student who wanted to be able to play games when I was free (Ha). I originally was going for the Strix Scar 16, but because of supply issues I went for the Duo instead. This was the best decision I have made this year. 2 Screens are an absolute gamechanger during classes and studies. It's so portable and I honestly think I could never go back. I played the Diablo 4 Beta on this machine and I could not have been happier. So smooth, impressively quiet.
The only beef I have is actually against the operating system. I think windows 11 is a bit buggy and will probably be so for the next couple months.
I was able to undnerrvolt the cpu to -25 in the bios and have had 0 issues. There was a tear down and it was discovered that the AMD CPU does have liquid metal, but the 4090 GPU did not. I would have liked an option to add. Only the CPU really gets hot in my experience. Even undervolted it likes to run around 92 - 100C while on turbo.
The charging block is a literal brick. Yes, I suppose it is portable in a backpack, but I purchased the 100w USB-C charger for portability while I keep the massive block at home.
I like the trackpad on the right-hand side. Barely took any getting used to. I would have it be a bit larger - but that would probably be better on an 18" chassis. Overall build quality is good and sturdy. Nothing creaks and I don't see ANY backlight bleed or hear any coil whining (maybe I'm lucky?).
