I don't like using it very much. It is the loudest laptop I have ever owned by far. In doing research it appears that the brand that used to be the best in the market at this a few years ago has fallen behind the competition.

Visually -10, Id rate this keyboard a 8 (if the mech cherry laptop keyboards are a 10). I kind of like the right side trackpad since I write with my right hand its better, also used a stylus for the small screen and trackpad, so thats something I miss. Gaming is amazing especially if you get them to overclock. Only technical complaint in retrospect is the screen. First of all the screen looks amazing, but its not 4k, even though it kind of looks 4k because of the mini led screen, its one of the best screens I have seen, but the resolution is not 4k, its 2560 x 1600 16:10
My only complaint about this laptop is that it seems so valuable that I would be afraid to take it places for fear the small screen would break or someone would want to steal.
It stayed cool no matter what and the special design seemed to increase its cooling ability.
*PS- If this had cherry mechanical keyboard and 4k screen this would be the best laptop on the planet.
Received my system, it looked beautiful. Only problem was there were four wires hanging loose from the chassis. There was NO manual or instructions as to where these four wires were to be ‘plugged in’. I contacted support and was told a manual would be sent. To date, still haven’t received anything. I was able to figure it out with some trial and error. Secondly, the small digital screen their website photo shows having diagnostic information from the PC….. that screen is useless. You can’t get anything on that screen in a format that is actually readable. I don’t know how they got that photo. Again… no instructions or answers from Xotic. System seems to work well, fast, nice graphics output to my theater projector.
I upgraded mine to max Ram and best graphics card. Runs great, no trouble playing Icarus at all max settings. Now it will run I bit warm without the settings to performance mode. Get a little air under it with that setting and it will taper off at around 68c. I’m glad I got it.
